Step three is upload the Cpmfetch folder to your sites main gallery folder. I don't really get what this means. What is my sites main gallery folder?

It's the folder on your server, where coppermine is installed. or to put it another way, it's the folder on your server that has all the coppermine files in it.

It seems that you're trying to install CPMFetch (which is a plugin for Coppermine). If you have no Coppermine gallery yet and want to install it, see http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/install.htm
