Title: Cant upload Video/Audio
Post by: zwirnschi on June 27, 2004, 08:21:44 PM
Hello Everyone

I´ve got a problem with uploading Audio or Video.
The section "Allowed Video Formats" is typed in "All"
But I can´t choose between pics and audio/video.
If I try to upload a video the program says "0 Files uploaded".
I have the CPG 1.3 Standalone.
Do I have to install another tool to get the upload section "Audio/Video"?

Thanx for Help!!!

Make sure the filename of the video/audio file has the correct syntax:

1. No spaces
2. No apostrophes/quotes
3. Lower case (no caps)

What type of video/audio file are you trying to upload?

you have to understand that there is not only one codec used for files with the extension .avi - it merely is a container that "tells" the OS: this is a movie of some sort. If there's no proper codec for the avi file installed, it won't run. In fact avi is (although used widely) a bastard file format when it comes to trouble-shooting ;)
