I want registered users to be able to upload into the categories I created, but normal registered users can only upload in their user group albums >:( How do I allow them to upload to the public categories, WITHOUT making them admin, cause I don't want them screwing with the site. set permissions in groups to allow upload to public gallery, then use properties button next to album thumbnai to allow upload to individual album. Pre-requisite: turn "Users can have private gallery" on in coppermine config. If you need a more detailed answer, search this board, this has already been asked (and answered) a thousand times.

You can't. Although 'registered users' allows all groups except anonymous.
