Hi, is there a way to add the video title to the video strip?

I don't want thumbnails of my videos, so I want to use the "transparent gif" trick. However, that would mean nothing would display in the video strip. I could disable the video strip, but I'd rather just have the file title there.

I found a plugin for this, but evidently it's no longer available.

update: I'm not going to use the transparent gif trick, but I still would like to know how to add video title to the video strip.

I'm not sure what you're asking for. What exactly shall be displayed where? A link to your gallery and a screen-shot with some explanations might help.
