I would like the text in the main frame appear smaller than it is now: http://michelon.bplaced.de/
I tried several things in the css but I didnt get it. Can someone help me to find the correct class?

Which text do you mean exactly? IMHO the text in your gallery is already very small.

plus everything underneath. The menu on the right is alright so far.

So everything in the welcome block. I assume you added it via
anycontent.php or MiniCMS? If so, you can set the style for that block by adding some proper CSS directly to the HTML code.

Please also attach a screenshot if I still don't get what exactly should be changed or if your gallery looks different for you.
