OK I have looked on the forums here and didn't find a answer.
I get this error when searching Error - The selected album/file does not exist!
I changed back to the curve theme and did a search it worked then I switched back to my theme I use and it worked.
Why does this happen? will it happen to others users that search my gallery?
is it a cookie issue with my theme as I had to do this on firefox, IE and Safari to get the search to work.
how do I fix this in my theme.
here is my site
http://www.canadianracingarchives.com/
Thanks
Searched on 'zardo' - selected a photo from results.
Default theme generated url:
http://www.canadianracingarchives.com/displayimage.php?album=search&cat=0&pid=527#top_display_media (http://www.canadianracingarchives.com/displayimage.php?album=search&cat=0&pid=527#top_display_media)
and produced reported error.
Shortening url to end in: displaying.php?pid=527 worked.
Changed theme to curve and repeated (search.php?theme=curve). Generated url (looks same to me...):
http://www.canadianracingarchives.com/displayimage.php?album=search&cat=0&pid=527#top_display_media (http://www.canadianracingarchives.com/displayimage.php?album=search&cat=0&pid=527#top_display_media)
Picture displayed as expected.
Reset theme (search.php?theme=0) and repeated - worked fine...
Went back to site later, and failed again.
Not my area of expertise, but maybe the additional detail will help someone else help you...
it's strange as I switched to curved for all browsers and it worked and when I switched the theme back it worked cleared my cache and it failed again.
So something is not being created.
Αndré ported the theme so he may know what is going on.
Thanks for your help
Please enable debug mode to get a more detailed error message and post that message (including file / line).
where do I set debug mode? I turned something on in the config but I dont see any extra code when I do the search.
Thanks

Not sure what needs to be changed to get the search to work.
Please help.
Thanks in advance.
I wasn't able to reproduce that issue in my testbed, neither with theme version 1.1 nor 1.2. However, as version 1.2 doesn't contain any custom functions in theme.php, I assume you're using an older version.
Please try again with version 1.2 (http://sourceforge.net/projects/coppermine/files/Themes/1.5.x/cpg1.5.x_theme_andreas09_v1.2.zip/download).
also get the error on the coppermine demo site. you need to clear your browser cache as I can get it to work only when I switch to the curve theme and do a search and then when I switch back to the theme and once you clear the cache the error comes back.
Strange GMC also got the same error as me on my site.
Thanks
Thanks for the additional information. Unfortunately I still don't know which theme version you're currently using.
sorry for the late reply it seemed to work when I reinstalled the theme. Thanks for all your help.
