Title: Customiszed Theme for Each user's Album?
Post by: taz on July 07, 2004, 03:01:58 PM
Hi there,

Is there an option or any way to have each user choose their own theme for their own album?

In addition, can each user has their own customized header title?

Thanks!

No. These features don't exist.

is it been considered in the development pipeline?

how about any hack or mod so that I can have a few copies of the installs sharing the same database?

you're of course free to hack this into coppermine, but I doubt that someone of the coppermine dev team will do this hack, as it's something only very few people might actually find helpful, but it means a lot of work.

It means a lot, otherwise the X'mas theme is useless. So I think this is a nice features. :o

Hey this would be cool.  I was looking for this kind of option also.   Maybe you should start a poll to see the response.

no poll needed, the devs won't do this - it's a bloat feature. Like I said: if you need it, you code it. You're free to post it as a mod then, so users are free to apply this or not.
You have to understand that we (the devs) won't code every modification users suggest, simply because we can't: the amount of feature requests is too big. We pick thiose we find most usefull for the majority of users.
