I have a big problem. I had a website hosted on fan-sites.org and a coppermine gallery. I had a webmistress who built the site and the gallery.... My work was to update the site and the gallery everyday....
Unfortunately the site disappeared (I don't know why). When the first problems suddenly happened in the site, I asked for help to the webmistress but she never answered >:( :(... And after some months I wasn't able to enter to the gallery too, like it doesn't exist anymore :'(
Do you know if there is a way to find, enter and use the old gallery in order to move it to the new site I'm building by myself?

And don't have another link or something to find it.... The webmistress hadn't never given me other info :(
Stupid me that I trusted her and I lost my site and all my work in the site that took me ages.... :'(
There's no DNS record for lukemacfarlane.fan-sites.org, so if you don't have any other info or contact person, there's probably no way to solve your issue.

Let's hope she does contact you and has a backup.
Hopefully you will be using a decent paid host and taking backups yourself in future.
You can also try to contact the fan-sites.org support.
Thanks Phill... yes, I'm going to buy an hosting and do backup myself. I asked her for a backup, but no answers :(
André I'm trying to contact them, but it seems their site doesn't exist anymore :(
Did you get the email saying that fan-sites.org closed it's doors in august? They gave hostees a month to move. If you didn't make a backup before, then it's gone forever. I am sorry.
