Title: [Solved]: Problem with Thumnails made of Animated GIFs
Post by: Frederik on July 09, 2004, 04:35:46 PM
Hey, i´ve sucessfully installed CPG on my server, but now i got a problem which the pics. The gallery is supposed only to show Animated GIFs. I think, CPG has a problem when converting Animated GIFs to thumbnails. So... my next thought was, not to display thumbnails but to display the real images instead (they are everytime in the same size (100x60) but there seems to be no function where i can switch that. Can somebody help me?

You're right. This isn't possible. You can't set the gallery to display "no thumbs".

I have a problem with the thumbnails. On my board only Animated GIFs in a fixed size are supposed to be uploaded. Well, some (most) thumbnails made auf Animated GIFs really look bad or have many graphic errors. Is there an opportunity to switch off the thumnails and show the original GIF instead? Or is there an opportunity to avoid the errors?
Would be nice if someone could help me  :P

Merged both threads, as they deal with the same issue. Don't double-post.

P.S. animated GIFs suck anyway imo.
