I've tried slider- and slideit-plugin and also mooslide but they all don't work with PHP7 (or maybe cpg 1.6 ?).
Does anybody now a slideshow or similar that works ?
What I really want/need is a plugin or script that I shows some latest uploaded pictures on the homepage (not that one from cpg).

P.S.: Yes, I have (!) to use PHP7.

The slidesow not works for me. It does not appear and the settings are not retained. What could be the problem?

Made a correction to the release. Install the new 1.5.1 version (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,79154.0.html). Make sure that you add
slideshowit to the album list view in the config for it to show on your home page.
