ive had forums with galleries for years to archive threads the way fansites do, year, appearance, etc by thumbnail. noone on phpbb will make me one thats why im using coppermine, i threw my forum away
but on proboards i had one and in the posting area i had a drop down where i could enter

whatever text i enter all day so i could easily get it from the drop down
id like to add a drop down next to Album Category in the Album Properties page, or below it, but next to would be my first choice
can someone help
the text would show up in the text field where the cursor or caret is in the text field

As far as I know it's not possible to enter anything in a dropdown. Do you mean a textbox? And if so, what exactly should happen when you enter text?
