Title: Can CPG Gallery and Drupal use the same user session?
Post by: bucko on February 08, 2020, 12:40:58 AM
Hello,

I have 1.6 CPG installed and Drupal 8.8.1 installed. I really like both of them. I'm running a photography site and the main site has information for users and the gallery people can upload their photos for various competitions. I've had a few users complain they don't like having a user account on both Drupal and the Gallery. Is there a way I can make the Gallery use the Drupal user account table and sessions? I've seen it was done with bridging in very old versions. I'm willing to help test it if that helps.

Many thanks.

As time allows, I'll see if I can come up with a solution for Drupal with the Tunnel2CPG plugin (https://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,79031.msg383109.html#msg383109).

Amazing thanks, I actually work as a full time software test engineer so know a fair bit about QA. If you need me to test anything I can clone my site and test on a local test server and report back any bugs. Thanks if you can do it.

You can try the CPG Tunnel with Drupal now.
