Title: Rolling Back Upload Date
Post by: nowordneeded on January 19, 2021, 04:16:59 AM
Sorry for the back-to-back posts, but I was hoping someone could help me with resetting or rolling back the album upload date. I'm running the current stable version of 1.6.09 on http://tamara-braun.com/gallery.

I had an issue with a critical error on an album and posted before. The solution I came up with was to delete the pictures via the phpmyadmin database, then I deleted the images via ftp, the reuploaded to then finally update the album. The only problem is I want the album/pictures in that album dated on the original upload date which is January 04, 2021. I know on Wordpress there is a way to backdate posts, I was wondering if there is a similar way on Coppermine?

Thanks in advance for answering.

There is no method built in, you would need to run a database query.

Once again, thank you for answering my post. Could you tell me how I would do that...exactly?!

Thanks.

I cannot remember off hand which table you need to edit. It can all be done using PHPmyadmin. Just look for the images in question in the database and edit them.

Always take a backup of your database before making any changes.

Another option would be to export your database as an .sql file to your local computer. Then using find/replace in notpad or notepad++ change the dates in that file. You then then import the edited database back to your hosting.

I would lookup exactly the table and column but am currently stuck in bed with a back injury so cannot sit up.

I did import the database, however, I don't know what I'm looking for. So I think I'll just leave it alone. While I would like to change it, I'm not that versed in editing a database.

Please get better and I hope you're up and back to yourself in no time. Please take care.
