I followed your instructions. I did not overwrite the include/config.inc.php file etc, but when I went to the 'update.php' file on my site, it didn't work. I got an Error 500. What did I do wrong?

Nope :(
I'll go look...
*comes back*
Interesting....I'll right [or is it write] the wrongs and will get back to you.
Cheers!
ok, I did the 'update.php' thing and got this on my index page...
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: cpg_db_connect() in /home/keanuett/public_html/gallery/include/init.inc.php on line 241
sounds like your files got corrupted during upload, or you didn't replace all files. Get a fresh cpg1.3.1 package and upload it once more, overwrite the files on your server. Make sure to use the proper ftp-mode. Make sure to overwrite all files on the server with those from the cpg1.3.1 package (both in the coppermine root folder and the sub-folders). Post a link to you page.

Again....? :( ???
This is what I'm getting now...
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: breadcrumb() in /home/keanuett/public_html/gallery/index.php on line 159
My home page is http://keanua-z.com/gallery
It appears that your server is misconfigured - if you try to manually access coppermine core files like http://www.keanua-z.com/gallery/include/init.inc.php or http://www.keanua-z.com/gallery/include/functions.inc.php, all you get is an error message saying your server encountered an "
Internal Server error". Here's the full error message:

Solve this issue first, you might need to contact your webhost.
GauGau
both pages are showing up blank...:(
I successfully installtion the new upgrade into a new folder.however, how can i get it to read the existing database...?
I am willing to give you my username/password and would be grateful [very grateful] if you could sort it out because I really don't know how to do this. It's a little bit too 'high tech' for me....
I'm willing to look into this, but I need all data requested below. Send me a PM with this data:
- The URL of this thread for reference
- Your gallery URL
- Your coppermine admin username and password
- Your ftp hostname, username and password
- Your mySQL hostname, table name, username and password
I will only look into this if you send complete data.
GauGau
Bless you GauGau!!
I PMd ya! ;)
I didn't mean to cause offence in the other thread... :(
I really do need help...
I have over 19,000 pictures in my gallery. I don't want to lose them...
Take a deep breath - calm down - don't panic and don't start writing all over the place - I am sure Gaugau will look into it... IF not today may be sometime soon :)
I just did exactly what the instructions "how to update" say on your page (uploaded the whole package to your server, CHMODed the albums folder to 777, ran update.php), and *bang* - you site is working. Next time, read the instructions more carefully, and use some common sense when using a support board ;)
GauGau
Thank you GauGau. I owe you a beer, a hug and a kiss...*mwa*
I'm pretty sure I did follow the instructions, but obviously, I missed something huh? This stuff is too complicated for me. That's why we need superheroes like you....
Bless you darling...
