sounds like you use an outdated version of coppermine, or you haven't uploaded all files when upgrading. Post a link to your site together with a test account if necessary (non-admin), and which version you're actually using.

No Problem any longer! I used German as default language, then I add the first album in English, than I can make the others in german, too. It´s a crazy problem
