Title: CPG Tuning (zend / pconnect)
Post by: GGallery on August 06, 2004, 07:32:56 AM
my CPG is serving about 8M pvs/mo right now - does anybody have any idea / experience how much of a performance gain the zend accelerator and/or persistent connections can provide? is it worth going that route? are there any potential issues with pconnect/lock table?

I setup mmcache http://turck-mmcache.sourceforge.net/ to speed it up and it runs great! load went down 40-60%
