Title: Coppermine 1.3.2 invisionboard 1.3
Post by: Snakeye on August 25, 2004, 12:43:00 AM
Hi,

I want to install the bridge between my coppermine and a new to install support forum. Is there a way to manually transfer all the members from the coppermine to the forums?

Thanx

Manually, that is the word.  You will have to do it manually, copying each user one at a time.  Make sure each user has the same user_id number in the db, or you will have problems with ownership of albums/pics.

I hope you only have a few users  ;)

One more thing: will the users still be limited to the max number of megatbytes per account? (Now 5MB)

Thanx

yes, you will be able to specify user quota after integration in the same way you do with an unbridged install, and your server restrictions will stay in place as well.

Thank you for your help. I just transferred all the users to invision. It only took me two hours so that wasn't too bad.

BTW you can delete the account 'snakeye2'. I used that because I couldn't login with this one.

Everything is working fine. But I wondered if you know wether it's possible for users (and admin) to see how much of the available webspace they have used. Before the integration they could see this in the profile.

Thank again. :D

they still can in an unbridged install: go to user manager (as admin) , go to memberlist (as user; admin needs to enable memberlist first).
With coppermine integrated with a bbs, you can't see the quota used, although it's on the todo list for future versions.
