Hi...
I have quite a few .wmv files that are larger than 320x240 in size...

when I create a custom thumb for these .wmv files that are larger than the default 320x240 the thumbnail is shown as the 1x1pixel image instead of showing the default thumb or my custom thumb.

Any ideas on where I can modify the code so that all the  .wmv files can have a custom thumbnail?

thanks much..

Can't provide a link because its in a pass protected area of the site...

I will add that every other custom thumb is working just fine in the script...

sounds like you're not running the most recent stable release cpg1.3.2 - this is a known issue with older versions - please upgrade.

Ok I will do that... I looked through the fixes that the new version included and I didn't see this listed so I didn't bother as the other fixes don't really affect me since i'm using this a content gallery strictly and not a community gallery.

On a side note..

I did  upload a video about 400x300 and named it the same as one already installed in the gallery that was 320x240 and it now works just fine with the custom photo..

not practical... but something I came across last night..

I'll upgrade now :) thanks!

Hmm sounds like whut I've came up upon last time too, but even with suggestions, the problem still persist on my album/gallery...
hope there's a fix soon.

Tried about everything here in my case:

- Have movies that mostly are larger than 320x240. In different formats (wmv, avi, mpg)
- Uploaded customized thumbnails on both ways (ftp, and using upload)
- Tried to upload thumbs of different sizes, 75x75, 100x100, 133x100 (default here), and even matching movie's sizes
- Tried to save in different formats (gif, png, jpg)
- Tried to rename it to different names, thumb_name.jpg, thumb_name_ext.jpg, etc.

Still have the problem as apparently some others have too. 0 or 1px thumbs when looking on the gallery/album page. And in my case, I do see the normal sizes and the whole thumb when entering in admin mode, then go to the [adjust/change] album option (to change settings of all photos at once).

what version of coppermine do you have? Post a link to your page.

I posted/reported this matter in another post with links of the CPG 1.3.2 ( http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=10951.0 )
Not sure whether others are using same version or having the same prob though since I haven't seen any links so far to their boards?

Hm, the miracles of cross-posting ::). Thank you, I already had breakfast and my mom told me not to talk to strangers :-X

I upgraded my gallery as suggested and it is still not working. I see that others are having the problem...
I'm not sure what you meant about the miracles of cross posting..if you are serious or being sarcastic... but I read the cross post and see that you are asking if the host as disabled getimagesize()

Is this the fix for the issue?

As I said before...
I uploaded a larger video in place of a 320x240 video and the initial custom thumb works... so I'm thinking about uploading a very small media file that is 320x240 with the custom thumb and then replacing this with the large size video so the thumbs will show up...

might be the only fix for the issue...
