Ok well, i downloaded coppermine, uploaded it, and it is all done. Well when i go to view it it says "404 error" and i cant get it to come up. I uploaded the exact same thing to my other site and it worked. Why not now? The link is http://crying-inside.net/stacey/gallery/index.php and nothing comes up. And the index is there when i go into my ftp. Can anyone help? Also, when i go to install.php nothing happens

This is not a hotline.  Please allow at least a day before bumping.

Are you 100% sure that you are using the correct address to the page, I get the sane 404 error.

Are you also sure the folder and all folders in it have the correct permissions and are not behind an .htaccess file that prevents access.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

If you have some sort of control panel, use that file manager to verify your files exist.  Some webhosts don't properly configure the ftp access, so the files you upload don't go where they are supposed to go.
Do not send me a private message unless I ask for one.  Make your post public so everyone can benefit.

There are no stupid questions

Yes, i checked the ftp, and i found the index.php and it gave me the link. which was "/stacey/Gallery/index.php" and that is exacly what i gave you up there. And I uploaded the same exact thing, the same exact way that I uploaded it to my other siite.

Is your server case-sensitive? If it is, make sure the case of your file storage matches the path you're trying to use to access your files.
