Stop ppl From Saveing The Web Page

i dont know if i should post it here or not ....
but is there any way that ppl can not save the whole web page .....(as u sometimes see... that page can not be saved )
i think its related to php .... but i m in a support forum ... and i think there would be something like this ...

so  ... waiting for ur answer

No you cannot stop people form saving your page - you may at the most make it a bit more difficult to save the page,however most of the times it is not worth the trouble

so i guess ... if u could tell me how to make it a bit difficult  .,. it will be a nice thing

when sometimes i try to same some urls .... after few moments i got ... " error==this url can not be saved " ........ so i was thinking to do somethig like that  ..........
if not fully  ... even "something" will work

Have you tried Google?

We don't specialize in

• Preventing people from hotlinking your pictures
• Protecting people from dragging your pictures to their desktop
• Protecting your website from being saved

There are resources on the web that deal specifically with those types of issues.

well ..
u r right... but i post this here so that i can get few hints / ideas  .. how this can be don ...
i know there is always a chance that ppl will save the page or teh web ... but atlest there willbe something that it didnt work every time .

so atlest give me some ideas ....
and let me tell u something ... i tried a software that saves the pics or songs whose links can be found on a website (the whole site )  ..
i even tried it on CPG demo page and it saved every thing ... on certain other webs it worked perfectly ...
but there was some webs where it can save only 3/4 pics ,,,
i look for there coad but cant find anythink that could cause it ...
so i m just here for few hints ... i dont expect that ppl here will give me some sort of coading that could prevent ppl ...

We're aware that offline website copiers like HTTrack can save a whole coppermine site - for many people this is an interessting feature, for you it isn't.
One reason offline website copiers can not create offline copies from some websites can be the use of sessions - you could try to mimick this by adding random patterns to internal links, or by adding additional session code.
Anyway: we won't lecture on basic web technology here, there are other sites on the internet that specialize in this.
Please accept that we simply won't continue this discussion; as suggested before: no special hints, google for this!
