Why do you suppose Coppermine gives me this error?

The installer can not find the 'convert' or 'convert.exe' ImageMagick program in directory '/usr/X11R6/bin/'. Check that you have entered the correct directory name.

When I navigate to this directory, I clearly can see the program "convert."

Do you administer this server?  Has ImageMagick been installed correctly?  Can you execute ImageMagick commands from the command line?
Do not send me a private message unless I ask for one.  Make your post public so everyone can benefit.

Thanks for the reply.

My mistake for the moment.  For me, "Convert"  is in /usr/bin/ not /usr/X11R6/bin.  I was thrown off by the "hint" text, plus looking at the wrong part of the screen (heh-heh) to determine my current location.  And... I was getting SQL errors (a weird naming convention was needed).  When I went back into the install script, I was so happy not to get an SQL error that I forgot to enter anything for the ImageMagick path.  Things finished and I manged to get an image loaded into the database, so I suppose Coppermine is using "GD."
