I see on the list for the next release is image rotating.

1. Is this feature in the development build?
2. Is the Dev Build stable enough for use?
3. Or is there a mod I can add to rotate the images within the current release?

It seems I like to shoot pictures from almost any angle...  and some of them hurt the neck!

Cheers,

The guys are realy working hard on that one, and try to get out the bugs.

In the meanwhile, sit back, relax and turn your monitor upsidedown, maybe that gives a bright view on your pictures :D and it realy does when your viewing my icon.
There are 2 kinds of users in this world: satisfied and complainers.
Why do we never hear something from the satisfied users?

Did you mean the entire release, or image resizing capability?

In the short term I'll just have to use my Windows App to flip the pics before I send them to Coppermine.
  (I like the bug-eyed expression)

1. Yes

Anyhow, it's in the devel CVS yes, stable or not you judge it for yourself. There are always bugs. It's a matter of time before it reaches stable (pretty soon).

It's not turned on int the devel branch, though.  Some, but not all, Image Magick installations have difficulty with it right now. In addition, it has not been moved to its final location in the program flow.

Great.  ACtually I'm quite impressed with CopperMine, I think I might get a dev version as well to see how it functions.. how easy is it to get a copy from the VCS ?

Hmmm.... I did not mean to let this out BUT since yesterday I am working on an Add On Image Editor for CPG - It will be mostly self contained and all you need is to unzip it and place a link to it in displayimage.php

To start with it will have Cropping and Rotating - but the architecture is expandable.

BUT don't expect it to be ready this month....

Thats cool.  I'll have to take a look at it.. does it work in the "dev" version or "Release" version, or does it matter?
