The Coppermine development team is releasing a security update for Coppermine in order to counter a recently discovered vulnerability. It is important that all users who run version cpg1.5.46 or older update to this latest version as soon as possible.

well, every week there seems to someone who thinks that a new thread is needed to ask this question over and over again. Every week, the answer is the same: when it's ready. A public beta will probably be released next weekend (meaning: a devel release, not a stable.)
