I have a coppermine gallery running (latest version) and want to migrate it with mambo. I have mambo installed and also the mambo component (download it from www.nuv.info) you need to let it run together. After the installation, I am now able set up a link in the menu for coppermine and if I go to the page, I can by clicking on the link open coppermine within my mambo.
My first problem is that the 2 different user db's are not linked together, even though they should. My second problem is that I am not able to stay logged-in. I mean I can log-in as an administrator or user, but as soon as I close the browser, open my mambopage and click on coppermine, I have to log-in again. If I open coppermine directly, everything is fine.

Hope somebody can help me.

I couldn't find a download section on nuv.info, where and what exactly did you download there? Definitely not an "official" coppermine component. Bridging with mambo is not officially supported yet, as only the unsupported devel version cpg1.4.x comes with a mambo bridge.

I downloaded it here: http://www.nuy.info/726/modules.php?op=modload&name=UpDownload&file=index&req=viewdownload&cid=4 ... it was nuy.info, not nuv.info. My mistake ... sorry.

I know that it is not officially supported, but I thought that the log-in problem maybe not only exists with Mambo. Does there a problem exist if you run coppermine within an iframe?

not a coppermine component, but a third-party hack contributed by Cas Nuy. I have no idea how it works. Mambo support will come with cpg1.4.x. The current version cpg1.3.x doesn't come with mambo support, you'll have to ask on nuy.info (if there is a support section there that deals with the mod). Marking this thread as closed.
