Simple question.
Why do comments display as (....) (....) (....) ??

p.s. i would have put this in my other topic but for
some reason i was told not to so please dont call me a spammer.

Casper

The reason was explained, we have a 1 question per topic rule.

Anyway, as to your comments problem, please give a link.  The link on the other thread is to an empty gallery, so we cannot see this problem there.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

Probably due to your settings for any of:

Max number of characters in a word
Max number of lines in a comment
Maximum length of a comment

miron

Once again, I understood nothing.

I have the same problem. I've wrote: "Mirelka jest cool" and put smile emoticon but obtained sesult -  (...)Mirelka(...) (...)jest(...) (...)cool(...) ...)D(...) and sed emoticon.

I don'think the comment is too long, ect. It's something wrong with spaces between words.

My settings:

Max length of description - 512
Max characters in words - 38
Max lines in comment - 10

That's default settings.

The problem You can find under address: http://www.rowerowa.strefa.pl/galeria/displayimage.php?pos=-282

Please, look it up and advice me something.

... in English language it work corectly.

But ... I have found another gallery in polish version and there comments works OK. See here http://www.miedzyzdroje.host44.pl/galeria/thumbnails.php?album=lastcom&cat=-10

Unfortunatelly the owner of this gallery obtain just an access from his host and don't know how to set it.

I have obtained that (...) are generated also before and after special Polish fonts for exaples รณ

kegobeer

Have you tried downloading a new copy of Coppermine and uploading the polish language file?

... the copy was uploaded 3 weeks ago. That's the first one. Have chosen Polish not Polish utf-8. The secound one doesn't work correctly in Firefox.

kegobeer

Switch to UTF-8 - I'll look at it in Firefox.  What doesn't work, exactly?

I remember this problem. It is caused by this:

// For the word censor
$lang_bad_words = array('');

in the lang file. That array should be populated by entries for the censor.

Thanks very much :-)

The modification helped me in 100%.

Now I can go to sleep because in 3 hours wake up and go to work.

Thanks you once again.
