not installed correctly page

im getting this  error when i try to access the coppermine :

Coppermine Photo Gallery seems not to be installed correctly, or you're running coppermine for the first time. You'll be redirected to the installer. If your browser doesn't support redirect, click here.

i dont know what to do from here looking for ideas thanks

You have to install coppermine by going to install.php where you uploaded Coppermine to.

the page i posted the message from  "here" is hyperlinked to the install.php when i click that i end up with a blank white page

Please post your server details (php, mysql, apache/iis versions).

php5 mysql5 apache2 freebsd everything else works  this is a problem with coppermine only i have other php pages intereacting with mysql correctly

Did you set register_long_arrays to on?

Have you searched the forum?  Try "install blank page".  There are many posts about this issue, and I don't want to re-invent the wheel if there are posts that can help you.
