Okay now to explain the topic. I've added about 50 albums.  And yesterday it was noticed that some of the albums weren't displaying.

In one category I had added 4 albums, of them 1 showed fine, 2 showed this weird image, and the 4th didn't show at all.  Now when I wnt to remove the albums, the pictures related got deleted as well. SO I re-created the albums, re-FTPd the pics, and they were back..

Now today I have a whole bunch of albums entirely missing pics, or partially missing pics.  By missing I mean all you have is the bocken image picture for them.

Now this is really frustrating as I don't know what I should do to resolve the problem opr to fix things so they work.

If you need an exmple its at http://slymer.polarware.net/gallery/

I really don't know what has happened, any advice would be good.

Cheers,
Quentin

PM me your coppermine admin account, your ftp access data, your phpMyAdmin url and access information and a link to this very thread for easier orientation.

P.S. a http link is always done with forward slashes (/), not backward slashes (\). I edited your posting accordingly.

oh, by looking at your reply by pm I can see this doesn't come naturally to all, so here's what I need in detail:

Coppermine admin account:
you supplied me with the admin account by pm, fine!

ftp access data:
hostname, username and password used to access your site by ftp in write mode (the info you once entered into your ftp software to let you access your site).

phpMyAdmin data:
a link like http://yoursite.com/phpMyAdmin/ and a username and password to access this area, since you (hopefully) password-protected this area by webserver authentification means (usually with .htaccess on Lunix).

I need to fully understand your site structure to find out where the problem might be, so I need all of this info.

The username and password for these areas (coppermine admin, phpMyAdmin and FTP) should not be the same (in fact they should not be related at all), should not have trivial usernames and especially not have trivial passwords.
