hi! i didn't know where to put this so yeah...

is there a mod where you can mass change the filename for images.

like for ex:

0112835.jpeg
19321.jpeg

could be renamed to say:

image01.jpeg
image02.jpeg

is there a way to do this without having to go through EVERY file individually and doing it.

i wasn't looking for support.... i was just wondering if this was a feature already made... and if not i wanted to request it...

sorry if i put this in the wrong spot...

this feature doesn't exist in coppermine's core code nor is it planned/scheduled for future versions. We don't believe in moving files around or renaming them. After all, the database keeps track of the files - the human doesn't have to. You (as coppermine admin) should FTP-upload plus batch-add anyway. Renaming the files before uploading them is strongly recommended. Bottom line: don't do stuff on the server that can be done easier, quicker or saver on the client. A webserver is mainly there to serve pages - making it do other stuff is usually not a good idea.
