Arkantos

hi all, this is my first post here.

i am an old user CPG

while scouring the net for "I use coppermine" images, i found no official page where these could be found......
i finally had to photoshop the default banner and paste it on my index page.

if there is such a page, do tell me the link, else if there is no such page, would the powers above indulge us and give us some images to use and popularise CPG??

AFAIK there are no such buttons. Good idea.

Arkantos

thank you for pointing the topic!
there are only three choices.
dont you think a competition for small images is in order??

dont these pics make it to the official site??

ecto

Thanks Nibbler.

It might be time for a new competition though, requiring small buttons, or a re-opening of the old one with new additions. Noone has posted in that thread for over 20 months, and none of those graphics can be found on the Coppermine front page except that small one that's also in the top-left corner of this forum. And that one is so small you can't actually see what it's supposed to depict or what the text says.

A good idea this time would be to ask (i.e. require) people who are interested in contributing to do both a standard banner size and a standard button size, with the button-sized one not having the whole slogan, as I believe trying to cram "Coppermine your online photo album" into such a small button is not a very good idea. "Coppermine photo album" might suffice, or "Coppermine web gallery", or something similar.

I know something like this may not be at the top of the priority list, but I believe it would be a good addition to have a few of these buttons on the front page, ready for users to put on their other web pages.

Maybe we can run the contest in the demo the way we are running the other contest.

@Thu: feel free to come up with a text that describes the competition as an announcement, I'll set up the demo accordingly.
