Hey hey hey...Nice Gallery!!!
Anyway...I just did the upgrade and i am now not able to login...here is the link to the site to see what I mean:
http://www.clan-wrath.com/cpg143/index.php

It just says "main menu 1 & 2" now...
I checked the Forums and i can't find the answeres...
Thanks so much,
Chris

You need to update your custom theme following the instructions provided in the documentation.

invictuswolf

wow...do I feel stupid...yes, it would help to read the FULL instructions.
Okay...now, to appear even more braindead...I forgot which them I'm using and I have about 8 of them.  Can someone check the link to see if the theme looks familiar...or tell me which file to look in to see which theme I am currently using?  I can't access the CONFIG yet until I finish the upgrade..DOH!
Thanks!

Tranz

If you look at the source, the CSS points to:
<link rel="stylesheet" href="themes/hardwired/style.css" />

invictuswolf

Thanks!
Is there any way to change themes VIA file changes (FTP) as opposed to using the ADMIN CONFIG in the "in gallery" admin module.
I am having one heck of a time upgrading and making my 133 theme coexist....so I just figured I could change to a 1.4.3 theme which has all the correct information.

your custom theme is only slightly modified, I suggest backing it up and putting the original hardwired theme in place that comes with coppermine. Then re-add your custom logo to it and you should be done. Is much easier than modifying your custom theme to reflect the needed changes.

Tranz

With 1.4, you might not even have to customize the theme... you can put your header in a separate file and go into config and enter the path of the header. That is, once you use the hardwired theme that comes with Coppermine.

So now I am using the default hardwire theme, but I am still not getting menus at the top....hmmm...
Welll...I simply upoaded the 1.4.3. hardwire theme folder in place of the one I had there and I thought by "magic" it would fix everything...lol...any help would be appreciated...

It's likely that you did not upload all files. Make sure you do that and you overwrite old files in all folders, except for the exceptions in the upgrade instructions.

You might want to reconsider your folder naming convension so you don't have to change your gallery folder name every time you upgrade. ;)

invictuswolf

OKay...so I uploaded all the files again and made sure not to overwrite those "2" items from the doc's.
Nibble, I am not sure what you mean...I should delete/rename/move the template.html file?  If I delete it, where do I find it to rename it, then move it...thanks!

Nibbler

Either delete, rename or move that file. It will override the template.html of any theme you pick.

Wow...all done baby...GOT PICS!!!!
Thanks for all the help peeps...good times...good times... ;) :o
