Dear Coppermine staff,

After uploading a file to the gallery, no preview (thumbnail) is being shown. When I click on [next], it tells me that it could not upload the file correctly. I thought it had to do something with the CHMOD of the albums directory, but they are OK: 755. The other possible problem should be our GD library. Nevertheless, it seems to be OK too, when I did a php info check, it returned to me that version 2.0.28 is installed on the server.

I have set up a test account just in case you might want to see it yourselves:

site: http://railwaymodeling.com/gallery/
user: taligga
pass: 123456

Another thing, that I think might be rellevant to mention is the fact that we had a server crash on sunday. Yesterday our host managed to restore the site content, including the albums of the gallery and the mysql db. I was told that we are running on a different server now, but except for the problem I just described everything is working smoothly.

Do you thing that the problem can be solved by upgrading to the latest version of the gallery?

Tell me if you want me to send you debug information or anything else that might be helpfull.

Thanks in advance.

Since the PHP installed on the server is 4.4.1 and it is running in safe mode, I tried to modify my picmgmt.php as suggested in the sticky "     Coppermine and PHP 4.4.1 - imagejpeg workaround", but nothing changed.

OK, so the problem was solved by turning off the safe mode in PHP by the host.
