2 different requests really, but since they are related, I though it would be simpler to put in one post only.

First one is to expand filesize restriction to different types of files. For instance:
Image files: 512Kb
Video files: 2048Kb
Flash files: 1024Kb
MP3 files: 2048 Kb
...
on admin panel.

The other suggestion would be to expand user groups permissions panel.
I could create, for instance, a group of moderators, with permission to erase pictures from this and that album.
Or create a group of users that can only post image files and no other types.
With this, it'll become easier to create a points or cash system on the forum, another likeable function/mod.

I know those are not that simple to implement (they will all need some database structure changes) but take 'em as suggestions to expand the gallery functionality.

moderator capabilities have been requested already various times. Your request for different size limits depending on file type is valid though imo.

:D I had another idea on this issue, don't know if it's easier or not, but just adding then: You could also put a filesize limit on a per-gallery/per-category basis.

On my gallery, for instance, I have different categories for photos, flash animations and videos. If I specify a limit for each single category, it would be the same as limiting file types, with an aditional option of creating group restricted categories giving a greater limits to VIP users, for instance. :D
