First off
i have looked and looked through previous posts, but most of the advice that matched up was for version 1.2 and doesn't seem to work for me and version 1.4

first off - all images on my site should be viewable by everyone, no private or password protected galleries

I have a "Public" Category with a public album which anyone can add images to

I also have a "design team"  category that contains sub-categories for each member of the design team (ie bobs images with an album in it)

after reading the instructions here
http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=3113.msg13675#msg13675

I thought i had it solved,
just create a group for each of my design team (only 4 people) and assign each member to the relevant group and then assign the relevant category to the relevant group,
and thats where it goes pear shaped, i can't seem to assign a category to a group, according to the above post it worked for someone else but for the life of me I can't get it to work

Originally i was trying to do this with the user albums but they didn't display on the front page, (and yes i did try the version 1.2 mod on my 1.4 install, but i never got it to work)

Thanks for any help

Edit -- It seems i spoke too soon, I managed to get the 1.3 mod for the user galleries to work, So I will probably use that instead
Cheers
