My gallery is at karma-syphon.com/gallery
and my forum (phpbb2) is at karma-syphon.com/forum

After bridging them, when I click "login" at the gallery, it tries to take me to karma-syphon.com/gallery/login.php?referer=index.php, which doesn't exist.

It should point to the "forum" directory, in which login.php does exist, not "gallery"

I've undone and redone the bridging multiple times, double checking my inputs each time.

Is there some file that I can go into to change the reference to the correct directory, or any other type of solution?

I have the following issue when trying to bridge coppermine and phpbb2:

I cannot create a test user for you, because when I went back to the bridge manager, I get the login screen with a "wait 40000+" button instead of a submit button. I now have to wait about 13 hours to try to log in again.

This is not the first time that has happened, and I've searched for anything regarding that issue and cannot find it.

Coppermine install: http://karma-syphon.com/gallery/
Forum install: http://karma-syphon.com/forum/
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.2
Forum version: phpbb 2.0.19

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:  http://karma-syphon.com/forum/
Relative path to your BBS's config file:  ../forum/
Use post-based groups?:  0

Check you haven't set your board url to http://karma-syphon.com.com by mistake - that's where the link is redirecting to. User accounts are created in your forum, that's the entire point of bridging. You should always use the latest stable version of Coppermine, currently 1.4.4

Sorry, the version I'm using is 1.4.4, I forgot to change that when I copied the form.

I've searched the database, and can find no reference to karma-syphon.com.com

For me, in IE, it still shows that it's linking to karma-syphon.com/gallery/login.php?referer=index.php

Although I do get a popup regarding the "karma-syphon.com.com" when I try it in Firefox.

Ok, I found the problem. It was on another database. I had changed the config.inc file to point to the new one, but for some reason the changes didn't apply, probably something to do with my webshell. I've changed the config file to it's proper setup, and I'm now taken to the correct login page. But after logging in, Coppermine still sees me as logged out.

I've now set up a test account, with test/test.

make sure that your forum is using cookie authentification. Coppermine needs this, as it reads the cookie.

letgo216

Yes, I've  discovered that. My forum used to use cookies, I dunno what happened to them. It uses an SID now instead.

I always though phpbb had to use cookies, but I guess not. I've already asked in the phpbb forums as to how to turn them back on.

Nibbler

The cookies are failing because you are setting them on the domain .itsfun.be

Heh, I feel retarded now, missing something like that. I had been checking and re-checking everything in Coppermine, and the path and prefix settings  in the forum, and completely overlooked that. Thanks for pointing it out, that solved it.
