There is something wrong in your installed package - the last screenshot does not make sense - stuff like Visitors can post comments should have a radio button and not a textbox

Ty downloading a fresh copy from http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=89658 and see
SANIsoft PHP applications for E Biz

I have seen this screenshot before - it appears there are webhosts out there who pre-install a modded version of coppermine where some controls are missing (or modified in a silly way). I can only backup what Tarique said: get the "original" files from our site and install update your version with it. You might want to consider complaining to your webhost for giving you a crippled version of coppermine.

While you're at it, tell them they are running an outdated version of PHP and should update to php 4.3.10

I've hit the same problem with Globat's modified version not showing categories. Obviously they've not fixed their install of coppermine.
Was the problem solved by a fresh install?

I tried at first to install myself but I didn't get the script to run - just a blank page.

The illegal Globat version goes unsupported. You shouldn't have replied to this outdated thread. Install Coppermine (the version we provide) if you need support. If you continue using the Globat version, ask them for support.
