 ???
It says "the ecard has been sent", but not one ecard has ever gone through.

Here's a link:

My host is Yahoo, I've tried to use my SMTP settings, but they don't work either?!

Does anyone know how to get the ecard system to work on a stable level?

does you webhost support outgoing email from the server at all? Find out if they have sendmail or similar or what the SMTP settings need to be. Make sure to have filled in an email address in coppermine's config that is allowed to send emails. Make sure those emails don't get caught by your spam filters.

Yes my Yahoo-Biz webhost supports outgoing mail I use it in another php script I'm running on the same url.
I know what my SMTP settings are.
I'm using the same email address in my coppermine account as in my webhost account.
And I always check my spam box.

I'm double checking all my SMTP options and settings just to make sure, but this will be the second time.

Do you only have the problem with ecards or all email messages sent via coppermine, like account activations/registration notifications?

 :D
Hello and thanks, I was only having problems with the ecard system.
BUT
After I changed my email address to match my webhost account email address in coppermine's config. I totally forgot to remove the SMTP settings in (Config - Email Settings) which enabled the ecard system. Once I removed the SMTP settings the ecards system worked great.

So problem solved based on making a very simple email change.
