I have a new website now, so that I started to enable the "normal-size function" so that my gallery fits closely to my new template.
Is there a way to use the full-size pictures instead of the normal pictures to save webspace?
I mean that I define the height + width in HTML that coppermine displays the 800x600 images in 400x260 for example?

I think my intention was not clear:

I want that coppermine displays my 800x600 pictures with a certain image dimension (e.g. 480x320) in my gallery, but without generating these intermediate pictures. So when I click on the thumbnail I see a picture at 480x320 and when I click on it the pop-up window shows me the full size picture. But these pictures should be the same, I don't want that copermine generates this intermediate picture.

But this isn't considerate to your users who might only want to see the smaller image and not bother with the larger image, particularly if they are on a slow connection.

...and thumbnails don't each up much webspace.

Hmmm ... In my database are ~6000 pictures with 800x600 (~450MB) now its 650 MB ...

In addition to this I don't think I get problems with these 800x600 pictures in my community because I use this size since 2001.
But ok, so its a pity that its not possible ...
