Not DELETE-ing the Original picture.

Hi,
 I used batch upload to upload my pics, everything is fine, I uploaded with no problem.

The only thing is, when I delete any of the pics, it deletes the normal_pic.jp, thumb_pic.jpg, but I get a RED DOT on the original pic... It doesn't delete the original picture in the folder.

How can i Fix that? I want it to delete all kinds(original, normal, thumb) of the picture that I detele.

first, if you have problems like this, please post them om the 'Support' forum, not this 'General' forum.

Don't know why this is happening.  Have you actually checked to see they are still there.  What message are you getting saying why it's not been deleted?

 thanks for quick respons, sorry about posting in a wrong place, I'm new to this forum, and not yet familiar to all parts of it

now about the problem:
 I have checked the folder, and the file is still there, it deletes the normal and thumb pics fine, it just doesn't delete the original one.
 And I don't get any error, it's not an error that I get, it's just a red dot... on the album, when you delete something, you get green dot for every complited task, and red one, for not complited ones.

So it looks to me, that the pictures which where uploaded using the batch upload, are not beeing touched by the gallery... Because I don't have that problem with pictures that where uploaded using the upload picture function in gallery... It looks like the problem is only with the files that I copied into albums folder and batch uploaded...

that's why I asked if it's programmed that way(to not delete the originals)...

just a shot in the dark: are you hosted on a windows server? There are different levels of permission on M$-systems: Read, Write, eXecute, Delete. The gallery will work fine if you have set RWX permissions on the "albums" folder and will be able to delete the thumbs and intermediate pics (as it has created them in the first place), but it might not be able to delete the full-sized pics if the permissions aren't set properly.
Similar issues might also arise with a server running in safe_mode (but I'm not sure as I don't have safe_mode).

To answer your initial question: no, this is not expected behaviour...

thats what it was I actualy had the permissions on Read Write Execute, but that wasn't enough... I just gave it a "modify" permission, and it deleted everything i wanted...
