ImageMagick not working correctly.

Hiya,
    Ok i've installed coppermine and all is working ok in GD but i've installed ImageMagick and it seems to me working ok on the box (managed to manually convert a file: "/usr/X11R6/share/ImageMagick-5.5.7/utilities/convert -quality 80 -antialias -geometry 48x40 'albums/userpics/1big.jpg' -") and that looks ok. But when I do a "Batch add pictures" all the pictures come up as x's.

From what I can see the passthru (in showthumb.php line 79) isn't returning anything. I've got rid off the Header Content type to test and its totally blank not returning anything... any ideas?

PHP Version 4.3.3
using vBulletin bridge
GD (2.0.15)
latest copermine (installed yesterday)

ok think i know whats happening now i'm running ensim and the passthru and exec commands have been disabled. Just can't seem to figure out how to enable them.

figured it out for all those people who have ensim edit your httpd.conf and switch safe_mode off. Restart apache and bingo!
