I cannot upload image. Most posts say it is becauseof file_upload is OFF in php.ini file


my question where is the file? I cannot find. How to turn it on

php.ini can only be edited by the server admin. If you're webhosted, you simply can't - contact your webhost instead and ask them if "file_upload" settings in php.ini could be a problem. If you're with free hosts or a budget host, they may well have diabled this on purpose.
If you're running your own server (which you shouldn't if you don't know about such basics as php.ini), simply search for it (there may be several files named "php.ini" on your system, only one of them is valid. Make sure to restart the server (the service at least) to let the changes in php.ini come into affect.
Maybe posting a link and a test account for your site wouldn't be a bad idea... :wink:
