I'm using version 1.4.2. I want to remove the Rate the photo box that appears under the intermediate size photo. The FAQ says to remove it from theme.php. I had been able to do this when I was using an older version of CPG, but this version the theme.php files are different. Is there an easy way to remove stuff like this as in the earlier version? Also, I want to add the instruction to the intermediate photo page that the user should click the photo to see the full size photo. In what file and where can I do this?

Thanks,
Brian

If this function isn't already in your theme, copy it from the Sample theme.php and paste it into your theme.php

function theme_display_image($nav_menu, $picture, $votes, $pic_info, $comments, $film_strip)
{
    global $CONFIG;

    $width = $CONFIG['picture_table_width'];

    starttable();
    echo $nav_menu;
    endtable();

    starttable();
    echo $picture;
    endtable();

    if ($CONFIG['display_film_strip'] == 1) {
        echo $film_strip;
    }

    echo $votes;

    $picinfo = isset($_COOKIE['picinfo']) ? $_COOKIE['picinfo'] : ($CONFIG['display_pic_info'] ? 'block' : 'none');
    echo "<div id=\"picinfo\" style=\"display: $picinfo;\">\n";
    starttable();
    echo $pic_info;
    endtable();
    echo "</div>\n";

    echo "<div id=\"comments\">\n";
        echo $comments;
        echo "</div>\n";

}

and remove the line containing

    echo $votes;

There's a one issue rule per post so please start another post with your second question.

Cheers,

Gizmo

[edit] You should also upgrade your gallery as per http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=32413.0.
Did you read the manual first???? Taking 2 minutes to backup your files can save you hours of wondering what you screwed up.
