I've finally uploaded some video in the form of mpeg.  I guess I thought that the video would stream, but it buffers the whole video before it plays..my host supports streaming multimedia.  Is there any way to modify so video files stream rather than buffer 100% ?

Sorry, I cannot provide a link as my gallery is private.

im sure there is a way, but i dont know, if i found out, i let you know  ;)

vargha: I appreciate your willingness to help, but generally if you don't have any information to provide, you should not post.  Support threads would get cluttered if every supporter who read a post replied to it with "I'm sure there's a way".

People asking for help should understand that if there is no reply yet, it generally means no one has stopped by who can assist, and they continue to wait for such a person to do so.

If you want to investigate the situation, go ahead.  If you find some useful information, *then* post.   :)

I don't mean to be overly critical; consider this friendly advice.

You'll have to convert your video into a stream. Mpeg is not a streaming format.

Thanks for pointing that out.  I was under the impression all file types would stream. :-[  My host supports windows media, quicktime, and real player.

I converted video and all is well.

Well, I just searched and found this trialware...there's hundreds of audio/video rip/convert apps out there, just take a look at vcdhelp or doom9..etc.

You might also want to take a look at the free Windows Media Encoder from Microsoft. It let's you convert all types of multimedia file types into Windows-Media formats (but not vice versa).
