Newbie Guide?

I've just installed and am customizing. Last night I found a sticky somewhere that had compiled resources for newbies, but my browser crashed, and now I can't figure out where the newbie guide was. It wasn't the official documentation, it was more casual and had tips for where to get educated as a brand new user and where to go to hone one's skills.

I was looking for information on how to modify the front page to remove the front page element which displays "most popular" and found excellent instructions which helped me to do that. But now I have other questions that I think were answered by a down-n-dirty newbie guide.

Can you help me figure out where I should go to get information about how to modify more design elements?

Is it possible you saw The Complete Newbie Guide to PHP-Nuke and just saw the first part before your browser crashed? I'd suggest just reading the Documentation and Tutorial for any how-to, and then if you have any other questions, just browsing the forums using the Search feature.
