I have put a modified php.ini file in both the coppermine folder and my root folder.  I have modified the .htaccess file with suPHP_ConfigPath /home/username/public_html where username is changed.  But when displaying my phpinfo, it still says my max filesize is 2M and other changes I made are still listed as the original.  Is there something I need to do to tell the site to refresh itself because there is a new file in town?  Should the changes have taken effect automatically?

This is nothing to do with Coppermine. If you have php issues then contact your host.
