Hey guys,

After reading about the various posts on problems with uploading video I think I have one that isnt the same as those already posted.  The big problem seems to be with the actual upload with most people...

My problem is with the playback of the video once it is uploaded.

You can check out an example here http://www.cyow.ca/gallery

It shows the .wmv file listed in the gallery but when I go to access it, it wont load.  It appears like everything is fine but it wont autoplay.  The play button also gets greyed out.

Is this a known problem that people have been having?  I use IE but I have a huge codec pack loaded.

My server told me that there is no limit to the size of files and I have also uploaded pictures that were larger then the video.

Anything I can try?

thanks in advance...

My thought is a file extension association.  Have you tried on a different computer or with Firefox?  You huge codec pack might be the culprit.  What about plain old IE with Windows Media Player for the WMV files?

Hey sorry about disabling the register for access.. It was late last night when I was messing around!!!

But the link you posted above definately does the trick.  My browser uses WMP in IE6 automatically and that was definately the problem!!!

Thanks for your help.
