Hello, i have a trouble.
My hosting company move my site to another server, but they lost some folders in that process. Now i have "X" where they supossed to be photos as the photos arent in server any more.
I uploades the pohots agian, but no i cant re batch them up, cuase it says the photos are already in the data base.
The photos  were already rated and comentted and i dont want to losse that.
is there any way i can put them again in the alumb?

If the original sized pics are still the same size and file name, and you can recreate the folders they were in, just ftp them to restore the folders and original images.

The database will then see these, but you will still have no thumbs or intermediates, so you need to use the re-size pics utility to restore these.

Of course, all this requires you to have the originals and know the folder structure.  This shows the value of backing up your albums folder.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

are you actually paying your webhost? They moved your stuff to another server and claim to have "lost" some files? Tell them to move their asses and get a backup from your old server and restore your lost files pronto!
If they can't (or you don't want to argue, or you don't actually pay for webhosting): ask nicely, or re-insert the pics "manually". If you can't: duhh...

Well, i am not paying my webhost, as it the web host of my unversity (kind of paying it with my payments to the unversity i guess). i started to make it manually, thanks for your help.....
