Hi guys

I ve just move servers and now i cant see the images everything is there view count , name of the photos but not the photos .
I copied the albums dir from last server and then in the new one i installed the last coppermine and i added the albums dir from last server in the install process i put that the databases prefixes instead of cpg1410_ was cpg138_  because i exported my database from last server and all the datas are there except the photos .

Any ideas
Thank you very much
The url is http://www.biggazza.com/gallery/index.php

Make sure the images are really there and are readable - I get a 403 error on your images.

Lineker

they are there and i ve just changed the permissions of the folders but still the same cud it be something to do with the file path or someting like that?

Thank you very much fro your help

403 means forbidden. Check for improperly set up hotlink protection.

pinpoint222

just checked this

http://www.biggazza.com/gallery/images/thumb_nopic.jpg

the image is available..

check for permissions on

1-- check Url path..
2-- your albums folder and all the subfolders.. try 755 if allowed ..(u can change that later)
3-  also check the image files permissions.. try changing permission to 755 on few image files and then test ur gallery..always empty cache and refresh (.u can chenge permission settings later on)

pinpoint222

and yes forgot one other thing ..please check the case of ur files..

1-- thumb_hair_cut.JPG

2-- thumb_hair_cut.jpg

3-- THUMB_HAIR_CUT.JPG

4-- THUMB_HAIR_CUT.jpg

all four all different on unix servers

the file case must b the same which u were using on ur last server..

@pinpoint222: We were not refering to the generic pics in Coppermine's "images" sub-folder, but the actual gallery pics. Although you're correct about capitalization being taken into account on Lunix-driven servers, this is not a capitalization problem: if just the capitalization was wrong, we'd be getting a 404 not found error. I understand that you're trying to be helpful and I appreciate your notion to give support. However, in this particular case, your advice doesn't apply.

@Lineker: Take a look at http://www.biggazza.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-8 for example: the intermediate-sized image that is suppossed to show up embedded into the HTML output of that page is expected to be at http://www.biggazza.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/normal_P8200008.jpg. When trying to access that pic, I get
Quote403 Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /gallery/albums/userpics/10001/normal_P8200008.jpg on this server.
[...]
If it wasn't there at all, we'd be getting a "classic" 404 not found error. Getting the 403 forbidden error means that there is something fishy on your server that is not being controlled by Coppermine. Do as I suggested: check for .htaccess files that keep us from accessing the files within http://www.biggazza.com/gallery/albums/
If you can't figure this out on your own, ask your webhsot for support.
