I'm Admin, and I don't see a message that has something to do with this. :-\

We had the gallery up and running well. I invited a small group in to test it and see how they liked it. Then I installed a message board (SMF & TP) and bridged them successfully. I would like to remove the old users and their albums so they can try the new bridged site to be sure people can register, post, etc. under the new setup.

Attempts to remove the albums and users...I may have made a real mess of this because the thumbnails from all their photos are still there. I did it thru the admin control panel but perhaps I should have deleted something in the database?

Thanks in advance for any assistance. Mind, I dont want to BAN the members -- just delete them and their images for the moment.

you could unbridge coppermine, login in as admin and delete the coppermine users you want to get rid of.  I think there images will go with them (correct me if I'm wrong).

Then re-bridge with your message board and the new bridged users and their files will still be there.

The other option is to open your database...go to your coppermine users table and delete the users you want rid of...then you can go into the folder on your ftp server and delete the files that were uploaded by those users.

First option is easier.

Expected behaviour (as suggested in the docs): if you already have users in Coppermine, correlation between their previous actions (albums they created, pics they uploaded, comments the posted etc.) and the new user IDs get lost.
As Nick suggested: unbridge, get rid of the users and the albums they created, then re-bridge.

I did indeed forget to delete the users beforehand. I will report back.

Thanks again
