Hi,

Since several weeks, I have more and more spam in my guest comments.  :-\ :-\ :-\ Is there any way to protect this comment area agains spam robots, and in the same time allowing guest user (real website visitors) to post comment on the photos ?

Is there any way to add in Coppermine 1.4 the following option in the comments :
- an approval option (comments are displayed only after admin review)
- a visual security before comment post, to be sure the comments are posted by human being.

Do someone have other tips to protect comments agains spam ?

Thanks

Sami

@bprm: Did you search? Searching for [comment spam] showed the links that bmossavari posted.

Hi, is there currently a plugin/hack that counts the number of links?
My idea is to allow only on link per comment, spammer so far always post many of them.
maybe i'll allow no links at all.
is it difficult?

That's what the "new topic" button on the top right of the thread overview is for. Clicking on the help-icon of the forum menu would have told you so as well.

If you have no idea how to start, don't ask questions, but read the documentation first.

Joachim

P.S. Posting your email address on a public board is not a very bright idea - there is no support by email, and email harvesters will love to harvest your address. Happy spam-reading! ::)
