I search everywhere. I only have two requests.

Where/what to edit so instead of clicking the intermediate picture and having it enlarge, make it so it goes to the next image.

and also,

Where and what do I do to make the thumbnail in the album list to the far left while the text/details is to the far right.

We have a strict "one question per thread" policy that you agreed to respect when signing up.

Afaik this has been asked and answered before - please search the board. I don't remember the thread out of the back of my head.

Edit themes/yourtheme/theme.php accordingly. For details, post details (a link to your help might be a good start).

I've been searching for a while and couldn't find a thread on having the image link to the next one.  I'm not sure exactly what that would be called so maybe thats why I am having trouble.

As for the thumbnail in album list, I am trying to get it like this:  [thumbnail]|(border/spacer)[text]

Sorry about breaking the one question rule, I posted this late and realized it after I posted it, then I wasn't able to edit it.

Why don't you do as suggested and post a link to your gallery for a start.

I remember wanting to do this a while back too and have searched for the solution.. pretty sure no one has come up with an answer for this yet.. here is a relevant post with no solution:

One thing you might want to consider is this awesome lightbox script...

after I installed that I didnt care about changing my intermediate image anymore.  When you click on it it does change it to a full screen layout where you can then click on the image to navigate..  just a thought.. good luck !
